Coming Attractions

Registration Guidebooks for the Saturday, October 10 Diocesan Congress and Sunday, October 11 Youth Day are currently being distributed to parishes and can also be picked up at the Office of Ministries. 

Also, the new Youth Day website is online.

Cuadernos de registro para el Congreso Diocesano del Sábado, 10 de Octubre del 2009 y Día Juvenil durante el Domingo, 11 de Octubre del 2009 se están distribuyendo a parroquias y también pueden ser recogidos en la Oficina de Ministerios.

On-line Registration Now Available

On-line registration is now available by following the registration link on the right. To register on-line you must pay using a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card are accepted) or a PayPal account. You do not need an e-mail address to register, but it is recommended so that you may receive an invoice and information about your registration. On-line registrations will be available until Wednesday, October 7, 2009 or until registrations are full.  Register now to ensure your space! You may also register a group on-line. To register a group, you will need to submit an address and phone number for each registrant. You may enter the parish address and phone number for each registrant. Also, if you are registering for more than on person and intend to pay for all registrants, you will need to sign up for a free Showmyevent membership account.  Please help our staff save time by registering on-line!  It's convenient and safe!

Inscripción por Internet para nuestro Congreso Diocesano está disponible siguiendo el enlace a la derecha. Para inscribirse por la Internet tendrá que pagar usando una tarjeta de crédito (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card son aceptadas) o por una cuenta con PayPal. No se le requiere un correo electrónico para inscribirse, pero sí se recomienda para que pueda recibir su recibo e información a cerca de su inscripción. Inscripciones electrónicas estarán disponibles hasta el Miércoles, 7 de Octubre del 2009.  Inscríbase para asegurar su participación. También puede inscribir un grupo de personas por Internet. Welcome to the Diocese of Fresno 2009 Diocesan Congress website. Here you will find important information about our event in the fall. Check back often for updates and information about this year’s speakers and exhibitors.

What is Congress?

• A Diocesan gathering of priests, religious, catechists, lay ministers, deacons, Catholic school teachers, and lay faithful.
• It is our largest diocesan event.
• Nearly 1,200 people registered last year.
• National and local speakers in 6 languages (English, Spanish, Hmong, Vietnamese, Thai, and new this year, Korean workshops!
• Opportunity for prayer and worship with our local Bishop, to grow in our understanding of our Catholic Faith, to gather as a community, and view exhibitors.

What’s New to Congress 2009?

New Venue

• The Visalia Convention Center, adjacent to the Marriott Hotel in downtown Visalia. A 114,000 square foot facility at 303 Acequia Avenue, and there are 2400 free parking spaces within four blocks of the Convention Center

• Evening of Prayer/Speaker for Spanish Charismatic Group Saturday Evening
• Young Adult Night Saturday Evening
