Your support of the annual Diocesan Congress provides the opportunity to reach out to a new market. Parish leaders and Catholic faithful are always searching for products and services that can assist them in their monumental task of serving children, youth and adults of the different parishes, schools, prisons, and farm worker camps.
Who are We?
The Diocese of Fresno is one of the largest dioceses in the nation, covering over 35,000 square miles in an eight county area. Our 87 parishes, 41 Missions, and 9 Stations serve a population of over 1 million Catholic faithful, out of a total population of about 2.7 million. The diocese boasts a rich multi-cultural and multi-ethnic population.

Individual Conference Sponsorship Options
For companies wishing to target specific day, materials, or social events during the conference, individual sponsorship provides an attractive option. This allows your organization to choose your desired level of involvement and exposure to attendees at the 2009 and 2010 Diocesan Congress.
Conference Lanyards (only 1 available) — 3,000 count with your logo
As conference attendees are required to carry their name badges during all conference functions, the conference lanyard provides unique exposure for such things as your companies name, its logo, or web address. You will have complete control of the text on the conference lanyard.
Conference Tote Bags (only 1 available) — $5,000
This sponsorship ensures that your company's name stands out not only at the time of the Conference but also long after the event. Your logo is featured more prominently than other sponsors on the attendee bags along with the Conference logo. The conference bags are distributed to each conference attendee.
Conference Banners — $2,000
Welcome and Conference Theme Banners will be prominently displayed in the entrance lobby and above the main stage.
Conference Morning Hospitality — $1,500
The Diocese of Fresno offers morning hospitality for our participants. Your sponsorship will offer coffee/tea upon arrival for attendees. As a sponsor of morning hospitality, your company's name and logo will be prominently featured where the beverages are served.
Conference Speaker Hospitality Room — $1,500
Host the hospitality room that provides breakfast, lunch and snacks for our speakers. As a sponsor, your company's name and logo will be prominently featured in the hospitality room.
Conference Sponsor Reception (only 1 available) — $1,000
The conference welcome reception takes place on the Friday evening. This is an excellent sponsorship opportunity as this reception offers a thank you reception for sponsors with our keynote speakers. Your company may invite up to three representatives to attend the reception. As a sponsor, your company's name and logo will be prominently featured in the reception room.
Conference Youth Day T-Shirts — $1,000
For direct one-to-one exposure with after-event visibility, this sponsorship offers a unique and collectable way of ensuring your company's logo is seen long after the Conference. A shirt will be given to chaperones, youth Ministers, and Conference Coordinators. Conference shirts are often collected and so prolong the logo visibility. Your company's logo and Youth Day logo will be printed on each shirt.
Conference Youth Day Wristbands (only 1 available) — $750
Conference wristbands are distributed to youth attendees. The Silicone wristbands help identify youth and adult chaperones at the youth day. The Congress theme will be embossed on the wristbands.
Conference Audio Visuals — $500
Many of our speakers require Audio Visual support such as projectors, screens, audio equipment and internet access. Your sponsorship will support the technological needs of our speakers. Your company’s name and logo will be prominently featured in the rooms offering technology.
Scholarships
Please consider donating towards Congress scholarships. Many attendees receive full or partial scholarships to attend our annual Diocesan Congress. Many youth, campesinos, volunteers, catechists and ministers depend on these donations to be able to attend.
Conference Speakers
Publishing companies can sponsor speakers by supporting speaker expenses such as speaker fees, travel, and/or lodging. Please contact us ASAP with suggested names. Businesses and Institutions may also sponsor speakers expenses.
Sponsorship is not limited to financial support. Should your company be interested in a sponsorship package not listed in this brochure then please feel free to contact us to discuss your interests.
Sponsor Recognition:
Complimentary business card size black and white ad in Congress Registration Booklet, recognition in conference program, recognition signage in registration area, Power Point recognition, recognition on the congress web site, logo displayed on Congress Tote Bags, Single page flyer/small token insertion in conference tote bags, 1 Complimentary ticket to the Sponsor Reception Friday Evening.
We are currently accepting commitments for sponsorships for our 2009 and 2010 Diocesan Congress. 2009 Sponsorships need to be received by April 30, 2009. 2010 Sponsorships need to be received by January 15, 2010. Sponsorships are on a first come first serve basis.
