What did you do before seminary?
God calls men to the seminary at different stages in their lives. He called me just a year after I graduated high school. So, I have known of this feeling of being called since I was fifteen years old. I thank God and accept His call to start a relationship with him at such a young age, 18.
St. John Berchmans. He entered the Jesuit order when he was about 17. He had a great devotion to Mary and chose her as his guardian of his chastity. I admire his youthful zeal to serve Mary and Jesus. I try my best to emulate his own words in my own youthfulness: "If I do not become a saint while I am young, I will never become one."
Brothers and Sisters, your Maker has a special plan for you that is unique and totally different from everyone else. God wants some of his creation to serve Him in a way of totally consecrating their lives to His Work. If you feel like you want to be apart of this special Work of God, go for it by emulating Mary's "yes" by fully doing your Makers will.
