Vatican II’s Dogmatic Constitution on the Church Celebrates 50 Years!
“Lumen Genti
u
m”, Vatican II’s monumental document on the Church is 50 years old this year.
What is at its
c
ore? Why is it so important? What are some of its major insights and teachings? What led up to its proclamation on November 21, 1964 and how has this document inspired and guided us since then?
These are the issues we will be discussing at this workshop. Come prepared with a copy of the Documents of Vatican II and an open mind ready to be challenged by what “Lumen Gentium” proposes us to be.
