Thank you for your dedication and commitment this past year as you shared the faith with so many. This year Pope Benedict XVI has declared the “Year of Faith” for the Universal Church. Pope Benedict has stated that our purpose for the year of faith is “to give fresh impetus to the mission of the whole Church to lead human beings out of the wilderness in which they often find themselves to the place of life, friendship with Christ that gives us life in fullness.” This is a reminder that as we go out and evangelize we must also live in its fullness and bring to life the teachings of Christ and his Church. We sometimes get so caught up in the preparation that we miss the joy to be found in sharing the faith.
So with great joy I look forward to sharing our faith with you during faith formation, retreats, and our Diocesan Congress. Please follow the link below to read more about the “The Year of Faith”.
Congratulations to the following individuals for receiving their Basic Catechist Certificates. Continue to visit the Diocesan website for updated formation dates.

Good News!!!
Bishop’s Appreciation Luncheon for Directors and Coordinators of Religious Education: The theme for this year’s luncheon was “Discipleship” in focus with Pope Benedict’s “Year of Faith.” As part of our missionary call, DRE’s and CRE’s were asked to decorate a container of their choice and fill it with change or prayers in support of Holy Childhood Association. I would like to thank you for your generous prayers and monetary support of $528.25. The monetary gift and prayers are a great blessing for God’s children.
