The Practice of Ministry, Evidence of Discipleship
The three years of training / formation in our New Wine and Vino Nuevo programs offers clear, simple goals:
A training / formation for Lay Ecclesial Ministers, developing attitudes choosing a sense of Church community and exercising ministries with a vision of new leadership.
The three years of training / formation have a sense of Introduction to ministries (First Year), Deepening (Second Year) and Practice of Ministries (Third Year).
All students who begin their second year are invited to attend on Tuesday, September 25, with the day of orientation to prepare spiritually to continue this process of formation.
Those who are about to complete their third year in New Wine and Vino Nuevo deserve special mention this month. It is our hope to have 100% of our graduates involved in ministries with new vision, knowledge, skills and attitudes for the good of the Church and our brothers and sisters.
• Both groups (English and Spanish) of all training sites (Bakersfield, Visalia, Fresno and Merced) are our priority and our goal. Everyone in their ministries are the evidence of the effectiveness of our programs.
• We hope we manage to show new attitudes in ourselves and ministries to continue working for the authentic unity of the Church.
• Interviews for the development of their pastoral give us much hope. We encourage you to continue and we congratulate all who are playing the role of advisors for each student in this task. The final retreat on Saturday, October 20 in Three Rivers will be a special time of recollection and guidance for Spirituality of Lay Ecclesial Ministry.
