The Serra Club of Fresno is co-hosting the International Exhibit of Eucharistic Miracles with St. Paul Catholic Newman Center in Fresno. The days of the exhibition are Thursday, March 16, 2023, from 2 PM until 8 PM and on Friday, March 17, 2023, from 2:30 PM until 8 PM.
The exhibit was designed by Blessed Carlo Acutis of Italy, using his computer skills to catalogue the Eucharistic Miracles from around the world. This presentation was designed to bring awareness of the true Presence of Christ in the Body and Blood we receive at Communion. Blessed Carlo completed this mission before his death at the age of fifteen, because of his devotion to the Eucharist.
These Eucharistic Miracles have been revealed to us in extraordinary ways over the centuries. Many of the documented miracles happened during times of apathy and skepticism. Unfortunately, many who identify as Catholics today do not believe the Eucharist is the actual Body and Blood of Jesus.
The Miracles of Lanciano, Italy and Santarem, Portugal are the two most important manifestations of the actual Body and Blood of Christ. Scientific evidence and tests support the fact that the blood from the Eucharist is actual blood and the flesh is heart tissue from a suffering, dying man.
An increase in peoples' connection to God and their faith is the goal and purpose of this exhibit, especially in our challenging and frenzied world. The public is welcome to view this spiritual and inspiring exhibit. There will be posters relating to the various miracles, as well as the opportunity to spend reflective time in Eucharistic Adoration.
