Dear Members of the Diocesan Family,
It is with immense gratitude and heartfelt appreciation that we reach out to express our deepest thanks to the Bishop of Fresno, Most Reverend Joseph Brennan, the Vicar General, Very Reverend Fr. Salvador Gonzalez, dedicated Mission office staff, and the faithful of Fresno diocese. Your support through the Missionary Cooperative Plan has been nothing short of a divine blessing for the diocese of Guntur, India.
At the heart of our gratitude lies a testament of faith, embodied in the ongoing construction of the Immaculate Conception Church at Ravipadu. For 145 years, this parish has been a beacon of light, illuminating the spiritual path of its community and sister parishes alike.
The Lord, in His infinite wisdom, has selected from our community and its sister communities, 50 devoted priests and more than 50 dedicated nuns to serve in His vineyard.
As our community flourished, so did the need for a larger church. We wished for a space where every member could join in the joyous liturgical celebrations. With the help of the Fresno diocese and many other generous families and individuals around the world, we've taken significant strides towards making this vision a reality.
We invite you to take a moment to view the pictures of the church in its present state. These images capture the progress we've made, and we're filled with hope for the completion of this cherished place of worship.
Now, more than ever, we turn to our diocesan family for your prayerful support. Together, we're not just building a church; we're building a legacy of faith that will endure for generations.
Our deepest gratitude goes out to Bishop Joseph Brennan, Fr. Salvador Gonzales, the Mission office staff, and every faithful member of the Fresno diocese. Your kindness and generosity have made a profound impact, not only in Ravipadu but in the hearts and souls of all who will gather there in worship.
With warm thanks and eager anticipation,
Fr. Rayanna Pudota
