Since I was a young kid, I have been having the privilege of growing up in our Diocesan schools and later as an young adult, in the Catholic institutions. Since I have been growing up amidst the Priests, Nuns and Catholic environment, this desire to become priest got instilled in me in a natural way. I believe that God would use me as an instrument in HIs vineyard and grant me the grace to transform the souls of His people.
Because of this early desire to become priest, I at once joined the seminary and started discerning my vocation to become priest. I have not worked anywhere other than studying and being in the seminary.
Here, my first thought goes to the Blessed Virgin Mary. I have a very filial devotion to her. In a special way, I have a special devotion to St. Anthony of Padua who was known for his preaching and for his miracles.
“Just, simply and blindly trust in Jesus.” The rest He will take care!If it is He who sows this seed called ‘desire’ in our hearts to become His priest, definitely He will be the one who waters it, prunes it and nurtures it in His own way! Above all, kindly continue to pray for more laborers to work in the vineyard of Fresno Diocese
