I love Our Lord with all of my heart, ever since when I felt the calling first when I was a child I told my mom that I wanted to be a priest and then at an older age a great desire to serve the Lord in a very special way inspired me greatly. My desire is to bring the Merciful love of Our Lord Jesus to the people, His love is unmeasurable. With the help of Our Holy Mother, angels and saints and most important walking along with Our Lord I know my desire will be granted. There's nothing I want more than to do His will.
I used to work at senior living community for many years as a maintenance, working for the elderly was one of the greatest experiences I had in my life, I met amazing people in that community. I was a lector and a catechist of the Hispanic Ministry at St. Anthony of Padua Fresno, I enjoyed serving as a lector and teaching catechism to children. Serving the church is my passion.
St. Pio of Pietrelcina
Do not be afraid, there's gonna be many doubts, obstacles and thoughts in your mind saying that you can not, give a chance to Our Lord to guide you He will do everything, just abandon yourself in Him. Pray to Our Lady she is here to help us, pray the rosary or three Hail Mary everyday for your vocation, visit the Holy Sacrament of the Altar talk to Him and tell Him what's in your heart say that to Our Lady too; They will respond. Pray and move, find out, talk to the diocese vocations director. “God would never inspire me with desires which cannot be realized; so in spite of my littleness, I can hope to be a saint.” St. Therese of Lisieux.
I thank the Bishop Armando Ochoa for accepting my candidacy for seminary and our vocation director Father Dan Avila for all his support and all the people of good will that support vocations in our diocese and for their prayers. I put my trust in Our Lord to be a holy priest for Our Diocese of Fresno.
