My name is Robert Grizzell. My parish is St. Joachim in Madera, California. I felt the call to the priesthood around the age of five, and I’ve been discerning since.
What did you do before seminary?
I worked at Taco bell before coming to Seminary. I went into seminary with an Associate’s Degree in liberal arts. I started my seminarian formation at Assumption Seminary on August of 2014. I am currently in college IV at Assumption Seminary in San Antonio, Texas, where I’ll be receiving a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy.
My favorite Saint is Padre Pio. Any advice I would give to discerners is to listen to the Lord, and develop a strong relationship with him and our Blessed Mother
Prayer is a very important part of our discernment, and one needs to have faith that this is what God is calling of us.
To the Diocese of Fresno:
I thank the Diocese of Fresno, and Bishop Ochoa for accepting me as a seminarian, and I continue to pray for vocations and for all the people of God. God bless you all, and keep us in prayer in return.
